The Dartmoor Auctioneer has a brisk trade in general antiques, jewellery and household items. Dealers and collectors are

The Chagford auction in Devon, takes place at The Jubilee Hall - next to the car park and is held 4 times a year.
Viewing starts at 8.30, teas and snacks are available and bidding gets underway at 10 a.m. sharp.
Don't be afraid of bidding as you scratch your nose - that's just a myth. John can spot any genuine bidders.
Just come along to watch - it is an interesting day out and you never know what you might find.

If you wish us to sell something on your behalf, please let us have it as soon as possible. We can then catalogue
the item before the sale and arrange for collection or transport if you have something that's bulky.
